A little history
O’Sullivan’s Bar CROOKHAVEN is situated in the picturesque village of Crookhaven in the most South Westerly Village of Ireland.
The business has been run by 4 generations of O’Sullivan’s since 1933. The building was bought by Sonny O’Sullivan and his wife Elizabeth O’Driscoll. Now it is run by Dermot O’Sullivan, his wife Linda supported by daughters Katie and Alex O’Sullivan.
Since 1933
O’Sullivan’s started doing simple food for the fishermen in the 1950’s, and that developed into home-made soup and sandwiches and desserts by Der’s mother Angela, and is now run by a small team led by Linda.
We still offer home-made soup and sandwiches but complemented by hot dishes with a local bias, with seafood chowder, local shrimp, Murphy’s steak Pie figuring on the menu. We continue to develop and strive to offer a warm welcome year-round with comforting locally sourced produce.
